Job Title: Social Media Executive

Definition: The Social Media Optimizer (SMO) manager is responsible for implementing social media strategies for clients.

Reporting To: Social Media Optimization (SMO) Head

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate and monitor relevant social media channels.
  • Implement strategies for using social media channels for marketing purposes.
  • Establish relationships with online communities by identifying key influences.
  • Create engaging content and strategy to engage audience on the major social media platforms - Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google+.
  • Manage presence in social networking sites including Facebook, LinkedIn and other similar community sites, and seeding content into social applications as needed.
  • Execution of all social media activities i.e. sharing, engaging, liking, increasing social reach etc.
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications.
  • Seek and evaluate new social media platforms and technologies to stay at the forefront of the adoption of new social media trends, tools and channels.
  • Coordination with internal functional teams of content, design, analytics and technical team to ensure excellent delivery of Online Marketing Plans.
  • Maintaining client interactions for Client projects.
  • Willing to take ownership of projects and be accountable to the ultimate success of each project / campaign.
  • Architect, design, develop and maintain innovative, engaging and informative sites for a worldwide audience.
  • Stay on top of industry changes, process updates and their impact on sites.
  • Assist in moderating forums.
  • Prepare status reports.

Job Specification:

  • Graduate with 2 years relevant experience
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of social media.
  • Proven experience in running social media campaigns for consumer brands.
  • Strong know how of the entire social media platform such as Facebook, twitter, Instagram, Linkedin etc.
  • Ability to build and leverage a strong network of peers and partners.
  • Creative, diplomatic, cool under pressure, fantastic interpersonal and presenting skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
